The boots are made of moose or buffalo leather, as these leathers are thick but they remain flexible. The lining is made of thin cow or deer leather to make a comfortable fit. There is a waterproof opening on the exterior of the leg which allows an adjustment to the calf. The soles are glued and then sewn "McKay" style. An elevation of 1 inch (2,5 cm) is installed to replace the traditional heel. The boot is then finished off with a walking sole made of semi-rigid leather. If you wish to have fringes on your boots you must add 150.00 to the cost of your boots. |
